This Sabahan guy, needs no introduction to especially the Chinese music scene - quite an accomplishment for someone who grew up in a village at Kota Belud.
Gary Cao Ge (Gary Chaw or used to be called Cao Bai Hao), originally from Kampung Tombol in Kota Belud and now based in Taipei in Taiwan, has found fame as an international Chinese composer and singer. He was the recipient of the Global Chinese Music Award's 'Best Chinese Artiste of the Year 2006'.
